Les solutions Hotspot Satellite

Satellite Hotspot solutions for a Wi-Fi access point anywhere in the world

Benefit from a wireless satellite network anywhere in the world to connect your devices such as smartphones, tablets, and computers to a Wi-Fi access point.

Wi-Fi access points, or satellite hotspots, can be accessed with a subscription or a prepaid plan.

Your smartphones and tablets are true technology hubs, but when it comes to connectivity, they have their limits.

Satellite hotspot solutions allow you to transform your mobile phone into a satellite phone to make calls, retrieve emails, or download Grib files (weather files) wherever you are.

Here are the different solutions we offer:

Iridium Go

Solution Hotspot Satellite Iridium Go

The Iridium GO connects to the Iridium communication satellite constellation orbiting 800 km above our heads. The Iridium GO operates at a low data rate of 2.4 Kbps.

You can connect up to five devices via Wi-Fi simultaneously, within a radius of approximately 30 meters, allowing you the following functionalities anywhere in the world:

  • Make voice calls
  • Send SMS messages
  • Configure your settings
  • Access emails via a dedicated application
  • Activate an emergency SOS

Inmarsat Isathub

Inmarsat IsatHub

Inmarsat's latest technology, the IsatHub will allow you to communicate in voice or data mode anywhere on the planet, with the exception of the poles, with a data rate of 384 Kbps.

Wi-Fi Hotspot function with shared IP connection with your friends and colleagues within a 30-meter radius (can connect up to 10 Wi-Fi users simultaneously).

You will thus be able to check your emails, send them, tweet, access your social networks, share photos, receive GRIB weather files, etc.

This satellite terminal meets your performance needs and simultaneously provides high-quality voice and broadband access at speeds up to 464 kbps.

Use the local cellular network when available and BGAN (Broadband Global Area Network – satellite constellation) if no other option is available.

The EXPLORER 510 is easy to set up and use. The user interface is intuitive and can be accessed from your PC or any other smart device.
With the EXPLORER Connect app, you can use your smart device to make calls or easily access the internet, even in areas without terrestrial or cellular coverage.

The EXPLORER 710 is an ultra-portable satellite terminal that ushers in a new era in the world of BGAN, setting new standards in terms of size, speed, and functionality.

It is the first and only BGAN terminal to support Inmarsat's new high-speed on-demand streaming service with speeds exceeding 600 kbps.

And it is possible to double the speed with the plug and play bonding feature, connecting two EXPLORER 710 terminals with an Ethernet cable to achieve streaming rates over 1 Mbps.

The possibilities in terms of connectivity and speed open up new perspectives.
