How does the Iridium GO work?
The Iridium GO connects to the Iridium network, accessible for worldwide connection, even at the North and South Poles. Once positioned outdoors with the antenna deployed, the Iridium GO will start operating. It creates a Wi-Fi network to which you connect from your smartphone or tablet (iOS Android).
Ensure the device's battery is charged so it's ready for use when needed. Make sure the antenna is pointed upwards with a clear view of the sky. Ensure your phone is within approximately 30 meters of the Wi-Fi network and is in airplane mode.
You can connect up to 5 different systems at once. Once connected, you will be able to send emails, communicate by voice and send SMS.
