The Trimaran Flo
We bought Florence Arthaud's old trimaran, with which she was the first woman to win the Route du Rhum in 1990, for the film my wife Géraldine Danon wrote and directed about Florence Arthaud's life.
To do this, we had to go and get it in the Philippines. A delivery trip carried out by its new owner, Philippe Brillault. A delivery trip full of trials, including an attack by pirates off the coast of Yemen.
The Smartone Solar tracker
It was in Cannes that I took possession of the boat to deliver it to Brittany.
There, I installed the new Smartone Solar tracker from Advanced Tracking. Easy to install in the net thanks to its four attachment points. It is autonomous with its solar panel. It is robust. And so you don't have to worry about it. My router, Maurice, could position me and it was easy to access on the Konectis website. This tracker remained permanently on the net, during the delivery trip and during the Route du Rhum. No worries during these 5 months of use.
