Advanced Tracking Teams Up with FocusPoint International and the Overwatch & Rescue Plan
Advanced Tracking is pleased to announce a new partnership with FocusPoint International (FocusPoint), an industry-leading critical event management company specializing in satellite and cellular device monitoring and emergency escalation services.
Founded in 2004 to meet a growing need for comprehensive tracking and communication services for the yachting industry, Advanced Tracking has expanded in recent years to offer geolocation and rescue solutions to anyone looking to ensure their safety. Advanced Tracking offers an impressive range of personal safety communication devices with SOS capabilities from brands such as Globalstar's SPOT, ACR's Bivy Stick, ProteGear's A*LIVE, Advanced Tracking's SmartConnect, and many more.
Under the terms of the partnership agreement, Advanced Tracking customers will soon automatically benefit from FocusPoint's Overwatch & Rescue plan as part of the monthly and annual tracking fees collected by Advanced Tracking.
The Overwatch & Rescue (O&R) plan includes 24/7 SOS alert validation and escalation to emergency services. It also includes multilingual and coordinated assistance for customers suffering medical accidents, security incidents, and a wide range of unforeseen events requiring emergency assistance. O&R is fully funded, with an indemnified service guarantee that reduces and, in many cases, eliminates the financial exposure associated with emergency assistance.
