Advanced Tracking on the Route du Rhum Destination Guadeloupe with Fabio Gennari for the Pure Ocean Foundation!
Aboard his 15.20m sailboat "Bella Donna – Race for Pure Ocean", Fabio Gennari is preparing to cross the starting line in the Rhum Mono Class.
Advanced Tracking confirms its commitment to the Pure Ocean Foundation, for the protection of the oceans, by equipping its ambassador with a satellite communication system via Inmarsat Fleet One. This means of communication allows him to be connected in real-time to receive weather files, use usual communication tools, transmit his GPS position, or activate rescue. This system also allows him to send his data such as photos and videos so that you can follow him during the race!
This amateur, passionate about sailing since a young age, combines his work as an administrative judge with his passion to achieve his goal today: The Route du Rhum. After several years of crewed regattas in the Mediterranean, Fabio Gennari is taking on the transatlantic solo race at 30 years old! A project he is preparing within the offshore racing division of the Société Nautique de Marseille.
All our support Fabio and Fair winds!
