Global Coverage
Are you looking for a tracker offering seamless global coverage for tracking anywhere, including at sea, to ensure your safety or the protection of your boat? That's the purpose of the SmartConnect tracker!
A rapidly expanding satellite network
This concentration of technology, jointly designed by geolocation and satellite communication specialist, Advanced Tracking, and the leading satellite operator and global connectivity provider, Kinéis, relies on an existing (ARGOS) and rapidly expanding network of satellites and nanosatellites.
Data accessible on Konectis
Being hybrid GSM / Satellite, the SmartConnect tracker provides tracking and alerts either via the GSM network or the Kinéis Satellite network, as it automatically switches to the satellite network as soon as it loses GSM coverage. In addition, mobile connectivity and NMEA 2000 data are integrated via the WIFI interface, and all this data is accessible through the Konectis platform konectis.com, developed by Advanced Tracking.
LoRaWAN Telecommunication Protocol
This new beacon integrates LoRaWAN (Long Range Wide-Area Network) wireless sensors, allowing for low-bitrate communication of low-power objects while being connected to the internet. This LoRaWAN telecommunication protocol allows connecting sensors or objects requiring a long battery life (up to 2 years) in a reduced volume and cost, ideal in a boat environment. These sensors can transmit real-time information such as a water ingress, intrusion, temperature, smoke, battery charge, etc. Various applications and alerts can be imagined as a result.
Controlled acquisition cost and package price.
Kinéis has developed a very small chip, easy to integrate and with very low energy consumption, which ensures a very competitive acquisition cost and monthly package, including a lot of data.
The documentation for the SmartConnect hybrid Satellite / GSM beacon is available here.
