Aboard his 15.20m sailboat " Bella Donna - Race for Pure Ocean ", Fabio Gennari is about to take the starting line in the Mono Rhum Class.
Advanced Tracking confirms its commitment to the Pure Ocean Foundations commitment to protecting the oceans by equipping its ambassador with a satellite communication system via Inmarsat Fleet One. This means of communication allows him to be connected in real time to receive weather files, use the usual communication tools, transmit his GPS position or activate the rescue. This system also allows him to send his data as photos and videos so that you can follow him during the race!
This amateur, passionate about sailing since his youth, combines his activity as an administrative judge and his passion to reach his goal: The Route du Rhum. After several years of crewed racing in the Mediterranean, Fabio Gennari is now tackling the Atlantic solo race at the age of 30! A project he is preparing within the Société Nautique de Marseille's offshore racing center.
