Description

PLB1 rescueME is the world's smallest personal emergency beacon

The small size of the PLB1 rescueME personal emergency beacon allows you to attach it to a life jacket or wear it on your belt. It takes up a minimum of space and is always accessible.

The deployment of the antenna is very easy: a slight pull is all that is needed.
The PLB1 rescueME personal emergency beacon can be activated with one hand, even in the most difficult situations. A simple spring-loaded cover protects the activation button from unintentional operation.

The high-intensity flashing light ensures maximum locating. Whatever your adventure, on sea or land, the PLB1 rescueME personal emergency beacon is your guarantee that help can be alerted at the touch of a button in the event of a distress situation.

The PLB1 rescueME personal emergency beacon operates on the only officially recognized network for rescue operations (operated by Cospas Sarsat). This service is funded by governments and free of charge for users.

Once deployed, the PLB1 rescueME personal distress beacon transmits your position and ID via satellite to the Rescue Coordination Center. This information is transmitted to the competent local teams who remain informed of your position regularly.

A homing signal is transmitted on 121.5 MHz to assist the approaching rescue. This signal is received by the equipment installed on the lifeboats and search aircraft.

Benefits of the Ocean Signal rescueME PLB1 beacon

The PLB1 rescueME personal distress beacon works with the only officially recognized worldwide satellite search and rescue organization (Cospas Sarsat system). This service, financed by the States, is FREE.
