We bought Florence Arthaud 's old trimaran, with which she was the first woman to win the Route du Rhum in 1990, for the film my wife Géraldine Danon wrote and directed on the life of Florence Arthaud.
To do this, we had to go to the Philippines to pick him up. A trip carried out by its new owner, Philippe Brillault. A voyage full of hardships, including an attack by pirates off the coast of Yemen.

It was in Cannes that I took possession of the boat and sailed it to Brittany.
I installed Advanced Tracking's new Smartone Solar beacon. Easy to install in the net thanks to its four attachment points. It's autonomous with its solar panel. It's sturdy. So you don't have to worry about it. My router, Maurice, was able to position me, and on the Konectis site it was easy to access. This beacon remained permanently on the net, during the delivery and during the Route du Rhum. No worries during these 5 months of use.
