Inmarsat is the world's leading provider of global mobile satellite communications. With over 30 years of experience providing service over land, sea and air, Inmarsat services are delivered through the most versatile and reliable satellite network in the world.

Inmarsat owns and operates 11 satellites in geostationary orbit 35,786km above the Earth, controlled from the Inmarsat headquarters in London via ground stations located around the globe. The recently launched Inmarsat I-4 satellites, unlike many other satellite networks, are expected to continue in commercial operation beyond 2020.

Inmarsat is synonymous with reliability and their products are found in the maritime, media, oil and gas, construction and aeronautical industries, as well as governments and aid agencies for mission critical communications.

An antenna installed on board the ship collects GPS Information and is compatible with the Purplefinder system.
This information is sent back to the Purplefinder provider via the INMARSAT satellite network.
The information is integrated on the map and is available on the Internet network via an access security key.

DISTRESS BUTTON AND ANTI-PIRACY	The DMR 200 system is qualified for INMARSAT D+. The Cross Griz-Nez processes the alerts.	The system is not equipped with GMDSS and therefore does not replace the traditional emergency beacon.
ANTI-INTRUSION IR ALARM SYSTEM	Security/Theft and offence prevention: Infrared motion detection.	Alarm activated: an alarm message will be sent immediately to an email address or SMS.
GEOGRAPHICAL AREA PROTECTION	The system allows to activate a protection area within a ray path of 100m (anchoring-harbour).	The system uses the Inmarsat D+ network with global coverage. Non-authorized movement alerts are sent via email or SMS to the owner.
